Hornell Police report that 32 year old Heather Johnson of Elmira Heights is being charged, after a chase yesterday, that started in the McDonalds parking lot and ended on Route 21 near the Old Almond Road. Hornell Police Captain Mike Sexsmith says, during the chase, Johnson’s vehicle collided with a Hornell Police vehicle, resulting in a Hornell Police officer ending up at St James. She’s facing charges of 2nd degree reckless endangerment, 2nd degree assault, 3rd degree criminal possession of a weapon and 19 traffic tickets.
Heather Johnson was taken to Centralized Court.
