LIVINGSTON COUNTY, NY – There were no injuries when a hunter in the Livingston County Town of Leicester allegedly accidentally fired a shot into a house there.
A 32 year old hunter was charged with Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree.
Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty says that deputies searched the area and through the course of the investigation, the hunter was located near the residence and it was learned that he shot at a deer with his muzzle loader and struck the home.
