ARKPORT, NY – At Wednesday night’s Arkport School Board meeting, the Arkport Board of Education approved a vote to allow Arkport Central School students play on the Hornell Football Team.
Jesse Harper, Superintendent of Schools for the Arkport Central School District, says “The Arkport Central School District is excited about our new partnership with the Hornell City School District for a merged football team. The merged football team is another example of how area schools are working together across district boundaries to improve students’ educational experiences. Hornell has a rich football history, and Arkport is proud to be a part of that tradition moving forward.”
Hornell School Superintendent Jeremy Palotti added, “I see this as a positive for kids in Hornell and Arkport.”
