FROM THE STEUBEN COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY: This is the centennial year for North Hornell! Legally incorporated in 1924, North Hornell (in the Town of Hornellsville) is the youngest of our 32 Towns, two Cities, and 14 incorporated Villages. Like all the Cities and Villages except Hammondsport, North Hornell was near a stop on the Erie Railroad. Bethesda Hospital was also in or near the Village.
