FROM JT SUPERINTENDENT LEEANNE JORDAN: On Friday, our Jasper building was once again impacted by flood water. Our Board of Education held a meeting to declare an emergency at the Jasper building at 5:30 this afternoon. NYSED, DHSES, and FEMA have been made aware of the extent of the damage; which is similar to what was previously experienced. Updates will be provided as they are available.
The devastation throughout our communities is heartbreaking. Our thoughts are with those who suffered damage to their homes and properties.
FROM CANISTEO-GREENWOOD SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT TOM CROOK: “Jasper-Troupsburg can use the Greenwood building, as long as they need to.”
