Jim Bassage Is Running Again For Hornell Common Council

HORNELL, NY – Hornell 8th Ward Alderman Jim Bassage, has issued the following statement about seeking another term in office:

James M. Bassage, Sr. (R-8th Ward), is seeking re-election for a 4th term as 8th Ward Alderman in the City of Hornell. “I am excited to announce that I am seeking another term representing Hornell’s 8th Ward at City Hall,” said Bassage. Bassage continued, “These past six years on the City Council have been rewarding as I feel that I have strongly advocated for all 8th Ward residents.”
Working with the city to help improve the quality of life not just for 8th Ward residents but all city residents has been and will continue to be my focus. “If elected for a 4th term, I pledge to continue to work with the city and the codes office to address blight and zombie properties not only in the 8th ward but within the city. I feel that my collaboration with the other City Council members along with various departments at City Hall has been productive and resulted in improving the quality of life of many residents in Hornell,” said Bassage.
