Judge Watches Signs Off On Warrant – Leading To Heroin Bust

CORNING, NY – On a warrant signed by Steuben County Judge Chauncey Watches, Corning Police did a raid of an apartment on Bridge Street in Corning, and report finding a lot of heroin, as well as cocaine and cash at that residence. The suspect, 30 year old Marquan Stedman-Jones, was charged with two counts of 3rd degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and one count of 3rd degree criminal possession of a weapon. Corning Police say that because of Stedman-Jones’ multiple felony convictions, that he’s being held in custody.
