Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard is pleased to announce the winners of the Steuben County Sheriff’s bicycle raffle held annually at the Steuben County Fair. Hundreds of children registered to win a free bicycle at the Sheriff’s Display at the fair. Two lucky children, one male and one female, received their bicycles and helmets as a result of their winning tickets. Eight year old Daniel of Avoca, New York and two (almost three!) year old Paislee and dad, Justin of Bath, New York were the winners. Both were very excited to receive their bicycles and helmets. Sheriff Allard stated “What a great event for our area youth, and the smiles on the faces of Daniel and Paislee were priceless. Although Daniel’s bike was a little small for him, he stated he had cousins who would love it!”
