Langworthy: DOL Trying To Force Left Wing Things Into Retirement Funds

March 1, 2023

A website called planadvisory.com says that the House of representatives has voted to repeal the Labor Department’s November 2022 rule, a rule that reportedly encouraged employees to invest in environmentalist and social justice programs, with their retirement money.

The house vote tally: 216 yes votes over 204 no votes, and passed in the house.

Congressman Nick Langworthy was a yes vote. “Department of Labor rule would have completely cut out employees and removes transparency tools so people can monitor how their savings are being used,” Langworthy said. “Our workers and seniors should have complete confidence that their money is being invested to get the best rate of return, not being used to satisfy a political agenda.”
