Republican Congressman Nick Langworthy’s WARN Act, has passed in the House. Langworthy says, the legislation modernizes alert systems nationwide. The congressman says, when Winter Storm Elliot hit Erie County in December of 2022, not enough people knew about the heavy snow, until it was too late. Over three dozen people died two years ago in the Buffalo area, during Elliot.
