December 29, 2025

As 2025 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the work we’ve accomplished together for the people of New York’s 23rd Congressional District. This year, our focus has remained on delivering tangible results — in Congress, across the district, and directly for constituents — ensuring that your voices are heard and your needs are addressed.

Legislative Accomplishments
In 2025, I focused on advancing key energy and infrastructure legislation to strengthen New York, protect consumer choice, and keep costs down for families. Three of my bills were reported out of committee and are awaiting consideration on the House floor:

  • Energy Choice Act – Protects energy choice and prevents bans on specific energy sources, giving families and businesses the flexibility to select the energy that works best for them.
  • Reliable Federal Infrastructure Act – Strengthens and modernizes energy infrastructure to ensure reliable power and support economic growth.
  • State Energy Accountability Act – Promotes transparency and accountability in state-level energy programs, ensuring programs deliver results for taxpayers.

I am focused on affordability, and that is why my legislation, advocacy, and constituent work are all laser-focused on making the lives of people in NY-23 better. These bills, combined with my ongoing efforts in Washington and across the district, are aimed at keeping costs down, expanding choice, and delivering practical solutions that directly improve everyday life for our families and businesses.

Communications with Constituents
I am proud to be your representative, and hearing your concerns is a cornerstone of my decision making. This year my office responded to 184,511 incoming messages, including 137,224 emails, 28,955 messages, and 18,332 phone calls. Whether these were comments on upcoming legislation, requests for funding, or asking for help with a government agency — I know that these issues are very important to you, and that’s why they are important to me.

District Engagement & Casework
Team Langworthy remained active across all nine counties, ensuring my office was attentive and available throughout the district. My casework team resolved 1,323 cases this year, delivering critical assistance across federal agencies including the Social Security Administration (SSA), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), U.S. Customs and Immigration Services (USCIS), and the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

We recovered $36,363,534.80 for constituents, from delayed IRS refunds to federal benefit corrections, giving families and small businesses the financial relief they deserved. You pay too much in taxes for the government not to be there when you need it. If you need help, please call my office — my team and I would be happy to fight for you.

Looking Ahead
2025 was a year of meaningful results — protecting families, advancing your priorities, and standing up for common sense against bad ideas that have gone too far. I am proud of what our team accomplished on your behalf, and I will continue working tirelessly in 2026 to ensure that my office reflects the same values that make Western New York and the Southern Tier so great: hard work, family first, and the promise of the American Dream.

As we move into the new year, I remain committed to bringing people together to focus on solutions that strengthen communities, create opportunities, and uphold the values we all share.

Happy New Year to you, and together we will keep delivering for Western New York and the Southern Tier.

Sincerely,

CONSTITUENT SERVICES
