Power outages in the area started in the 6pm hour last night. At that point, NYSEG was reporting hundreds of outages in Hornell and Hornellsville, and Steuben Rural Electric reported outages in both Hornell and Canisteo. There were also numerous outages reported in Almond last night.
As of this morning, NYSEG is listing no outages in Steuben or Allegany County.
