Village elections are going to be held tomorrow, here is a list of local races:
North Hornell – There is a mayoral race and two trustee positions. John Falci is the only candidate running for mayor on the GOP ticket. The trustee candidates are Joe Ingalls (R) and Frank Libordi (I). All three, Falci, Libordi and Ingalls are running unopposed.
Canisteo – Three candidates are running for two village board seats: Grant Seaman (R), Don Lewis (R) and Michael Delaney (I).
Alfred – Three candidates are running for mayor: Becky Prophet, James Ninos and Kyla Thomas. Also, there are two candidates going for two village trustee seats: Andrea Gill and Kaitlin Brown.
Arkport – Three candidates are running for two seats: Jon Hedges (R) and Ryan Beers (R), Patty Amidon (D). Amidon and Hedges are incumbents. Mayor Charlie Flanders (R) is running unopposed.
Andover – Scott Updyke is doing a write-in campaign to get on the village board, Mel Thorpe, Mike Dibble and Bob Joyce are also running.
