Livingston County Conservatives Don’t Like Gov. Cuomo’s Public Service Commission Nominee

June 19, 2017

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, NY – The Livingston County Conservative Party is objecting to Governor Andrew Cuomo nomination of former State Senator Joe Alesi, the Rochester Republican. Jason McGuire of the Livingston County Conservatives says that Alesi has an arrest record for a house break in 2008.

Alesi in the state senate, was most known for breaking with much of the rest of the state republicans, in voting for same sex marriage.
Alesi, like Cuomo, supports wind energy, and that will be a big issue for the Public Service Commission.
