HORNELL, NY – Hornell Police say that Charles Ferris of Hornellsville has been arrested and charged with two counts of 4th degree criminal mischief and four counts of reckless endangerment in the 2nd degree.
Hornell police allege that Ferris worked on the furnace that had some problems that led to a house fire on John Street last week.
Police maintain that he improperly worked on a safe switch on the furnace.
