NORTH HORNELL, NY – She was this radio station’s secretary for five decades. The first face you would see whenever you walked into the station. Longtime former secretary Carol Pascoe, has passed away, at Elderwood, at the age of 77.
Carol graduated from Hornell High School in 1959. She came to work at Wlea, shortly after graduating. Carol was longtime owner Kevin Doran’s right hand woman. She was with the station until her health gave in, in 2015, leaving the business, just before Kevin Doran’s death, in October, 2015.
To call Carol a “beyond average” employee, would be an understatement. Carol leaves behind her son David, his wife Kayla and their infant grandson, Henry. Carol Pascoe was a top notch secretary, a big friend, and will be greatly missed.
