Rochester Radio personality Bob Lonsberry posted an editorial on his website, Lonsberry.com, about his dislike of the state mandating a name change, for the Canisteo-Greenwood Redskins. “The government said so,” Lonsberry wrote. “Off in Albany, the bureaucrats in the state capital. They are offended by the word. They’ve never been to Canisteo, they didn’t ask us about it, they have no idea how we live or what we value.”
