Marcus And Palotti Plead Not Guilty

Hornell School Superintendent Jeremy Palotti and Hornell Principal Eli Marcus were in Steuben County Court and both pleaded not guilty to the charges against them. Marcus is charged with 10 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, for allegedly, acting in a manner to be injurious to the physical, mental or moral welfare of a child under the age of 17. Palotti is charged with two counts of official misconduct and failing to make a required report to the NYS Child Abuse Hotline. The Hornell School district says, there are no allegations of any sexual misconduct, and to their knowledge, no such thing took place.

Marcus is accused of searching students without parental permission/knowledge, or having witnesses/law enforcement present.
