HORNELL, NY – Appearing on the 1480 Club this morning, Mayor Shawn Hogan (D) spoke of how things are very busy at the Hornell Alstom facility. “They’re gearing up to get their first car shells for the Amtrak high speed rail,” Hogan told WLEA. “Those car shells will arrive in November of this year, 2017. Then they’ll start production, and obviously start hiring some craft workers and things of that nature, but right along, they’ve been hiring engineers.”
