Mayor Hogan Thanks Gov. Cuomo For Helping St James

March 7, 2016

HORNELL, NY – Appearing this morning on the Newsmaker Show, Mayor Shawn Hogan thanked Governor Andrew Cuomo for securing the 54.9 million dollar grant to help build a new hospital facility in North Hornell. “Certainly without his support, I think we would be hard pressed,” Hogan said. “There was a tremendous amount of competition for this essential health care partners application.”

The mayor went on to say that there was a total of $70 million dollars that was given to hospitals in New York State, and that St. James got 55 out of that 70 million. Hogan also thanked St. James CEO Jennifer Sullivan. “A lot of credit goes to the administration and the employees at St. James who worked so hard,” Hogan said. “I’m talking days that went on for 17 to 18 hours.”
