In upstate New York, the minimum wage will go from $15.00 to $15.50 on January 1, 2025. Also, for tipped food service workers, the minimum wage will be $10.35 Cash Wage, $5.15 Top Credit. For tipped service employees, the new minimum wage pay will be $12.90 Cash Wage and $2.60 Tip Credit.
For other regions, such as New York City and Westchester County, the minimum wage will increase, from $16.00 to $16.50.
