Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on Sunday, November 5, at about 10:20am, a female who resides in the Town of Erwin was reported missing. Deputies and Investigators responded to initiate the investigation and subsequent search. At about 6am this morning, the missing person returned home, apparently unharmed, with nothing suspicious suspected at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
The Sheriff’s Office thanks the New York State Forest Rangers, Gang Mills Forest View Volunteer Fire Department and the New York State Police for their assistance in this investigation.
