Steuben County Legislative Chair Kelly Fitzpatrick says Mitch Alger has been appointed as the new county finance commissioner and is also now on the land bank. Alger is taking the place of Tammy Hurd-Harvey, who recently retired from being the finance commissioner. Mitch Alger, up to this point, had been the deputy finance commissioner.
