Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker reports that 29 year old Brett Heffner of Corning, who is accused of killing 26 year old Keli Collins of Corning on August 5th, Heffner is now facing more charges.
Heffner, who is being held in Steuben County Jail without bail, is now charged with: 1st degree murder, 1st degree rape and 3rd degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Those charges come after Grand Jury proceedings.
Heffner is accused of raping and killing Keli Collins, then stealing her car and driving it to Hornell.
