HORNELL, NY – Chief Frank Brzozowski, Mayor John Buckley and others were present to welcome newly appointed firefighter Mark Joy, who comes to the Hornell Fire Dept from Arkport. The Board of Public Safety appointed Mark Joy, and also appointed recently retired firefighters John McAneney and Todd Smith as Call Men to supplement the fire department.
“We’re very happy to have Mark on the team. His years experience with the Arkport Volunteer Fire Department make him ideal for this position,” said Mayor Buckley. “Mark is coming into a great Department and I’m excited to see him in his new role.”
