New Signs For Seneca – Are Coming Soon

HORNELL, NY – Hornell Police Captain Mike Sexsmith says that new L.E.D. blinking signs for the crosswalk near The Scoop on Seneca Street, have been ordered. In other Hornell news, police street cameras are being replaced. Captain Sexsmith says there are 10 street cameras, around Hornell. He also notes that the number of calls placed to the police station, and that there are less mental health related incidents, at the moment.

The Hornell Fire Department reports that in the month of September, there was a total of 411 ambulance calls. That is 4% higher than usual. In the month of October, there were 443 ambulance calls. This was partly attributed to an increase in car accidents.
