The Steuben County Youth Bureau is excited to announce the grand opening of its new Center for Youth Services, located in the Community Services Building at 115 Liberty Street in Bath. The official launch will take place during the upcoming Mid-Winter School Break, from February 18-21, 2025. The event will feature a variety of youth-focused training programs, workshops, and lunchtime hours each day to showcase the new space and resources available to the community.
The Center for Youth Services aims to provide a one-stop destination for youth, families, and service providers to access essential resources and programs. The new facility will serve as a central hub for connecting youth to a wide range of services, from career training and job resources to mental health support, college information, and much more. Several partner organizations will also be co-locating services at the Center on a regular basis to ensure that community members have access to the services they need.
During the Mid-Winter School Break, the Youth Bureau will host four training programs designed to engage local youth and provide valuable skills for their futures:
– MASH Camp for Healthcare Career Exploration – WNY Rural Area Health Education Center- Tuesday, February 18th 9:00 A.M. -12:00 P.M.
– Teen Mental Health First Aid – Institute for Human Services (IHS) – Wednesday, February 19th 11:30A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
– “Little Red” Video and Discussion on Youth/Human Trafficking – Child Advocacy Center Thursday, February 20th 1:00 P.M. – 2:30 P.M.
– Finding Your Career Path – CSS Workforce NY – Friday, February 21st 2:30P.M. TO 4:00P.M.
In addition to these educational workshops, the Youth Bureau will be hosting an open house every day from Tuesday, February 18 through Friday, February 21, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. During the open house hours, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the new facility, learn about available resources, and meet with representatives from partner organizations.
At the end of the week, raffles will be held for youth participants as a special thank-you for their engagement.

The Steuben County Youth Bureau invites all local youth, families, and service providers to join them during this special week of programming and celebration. The Youth Bureau encourages local partners and community members to help spread the word about the event and to attend the open house.
