Nojay: Very Optimistic About Alstom In Hornell

April 9 2015

HORNELL, NY – Assemblyman Bill Nojay, Assemblyman Phil Palmesano, and representatives from Senator Gillibrand and Congressman Reed’s offices, were at Alstom this morning, to talk about the need for supporting federal transportation funding.

Assemblyman Nojay says he’s very optimistic about the future of Alstom. “The people that they have running the transportation business are just tremendous assets, who love Hornell by the way! I’ve got to tell you, the whole day, how many times they said that the Hornell skilled labor pool, the union relationship, the relationship with local government, the City of Hornell, the state of New York, the federal representatives, it just couldn’t be better,” said Nojay. “I’m very optimistic after today, about the future of Hornell and the facility there, because we’ve got all the oars in the water!”
