North Hornell Police Receive A Grant For About $20,000

FROM NORTH HORNELL VILLAGE POLICE CHIEF KYLE AMIDON: “In September of 2024 the Village of North Hornell Police Department received funding from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program in the amount of $19,500.00 to support the purchasing of a new car radio unit, new radar unit, new laptop computer and mounting station, a weapon box, a new barcode scanner and car printer for their new 2024 Ford Explorer that was recently received off a grant in June for the North Hornell School Resource Officer.

“The Village of North Hornell and the North Hornell Police Department are thankful for these grant funds and will continue to search and execute grant opportunities to assist with taxpayer savings.”
