NORTH HORNELL, NY – The bulletin below, was sent out at 12:42pm on Saturday, January 6, by North Hornell Village Trustee Frank Libordi.
Hornell Water Treatment Plant Chief Operator Leonard Fucci and City Superintendent Mitch Cornish graciously accepted a request from the Village of North Hornell to perform bacteriological testing for the DOH. The first sample set was taken at 5PM on Thursday (1-4-18). On Friday (1-5-18) at 5PM the first sample was qualified as negative for bacteria (safe). The second sample set was taken at 5PM on Friday (1-5-18). If the second set of tests qualify as negative for bacteria (safe), DOH Health Engineer Gary Garafalo will contact the Village of North Hornell on Saturday (1-6-18) at 5PM to lift the drinking ban.
