ALLEGANY COUNTY, NY – The four Elmira suspects, accused of beating up a 19 year old boy from Bradford Pennsylvania named Derek Correa, have been indicted. 19 year old Eric Plante, 19 year old Moses Scharborough, 20 year old Jayson Lewis and 20 year old William Bligh, have each been indicted by an Allegany County Grand Jury with 2nd Degree Attempted Murder and 1st Degree Gang Assault. That’s according to Allegany County Assistant District Attorney Ian Jones.
Also, the Alfred Village Court Clerk tells us, that all four, Plante, Lewis, Bligh and Scharborough, have been charged by Alfred Village Police with 3rd Degree Assault and Disorderly Conduct For Violent Behavior. It’s alleged that there were over five other incidents, in which the four suspects assaulted other people, on the same night, on which Derek Correa was badly injured.
