Later, along with his brother, Joseph “Muzzy” DiCosimo, he became co-owner of the family business, the former Margaret’s Grocery Store on East Main Street where he worked for 23 years before retiring in 1988 at the age of 61.

Nuncio was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Hornell. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who also enjoyed cooking and helping others. He will be remembered most of all for being a loving husband, a wonderful father, brother, uncle and friend.

His loving family includes his devoted and caring son, John DiCosimo of Hornell; his brother, Joseph “Muzzy” (Rose) DiCosimo also of Hornell; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
