In an article that just came out this morning, the New York Times is reporting that the governor badly handled the commission he set up to investigate the handling of Hurricane Sandy.
According to the Times, Governor Cuomo interfered with the Sandy commission and tried to get the commission to come to the conclusion he wanted them to reach. The Times also reports that the governors office ignored pleas from state authorities to fill staff vacancies for months before Sandy struck New York, and that the because the governors press office wanted to be in charge of all statements to the media, it cause a situation where the press release were not out fast enough to the public about when and where electricity would be restored.
