NYC Teen Reportedly Drives 120 MPH Through Livingston County Towns

May 6, 2022

Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty reports the arrest of an 18 year old male from the Bronx, who is accused of trying to get away from police in Mount Morris and allegedly drove 120 miles an hour to do so. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department reports that they caught up with the 18 year old Bronx male, Redi Muca, later on, in the Town of Leicester. Sheriff Dougherty pointed out that not only was bail reform a problem, in that the accusations of going 120 miles an hour were not enough to hold Muca, on bail.

Sheriff Dougherty also stated that the Livingston County District Attorney did not show up or send any one in to represent the prosecution in this case. Sheriff Tom Dougherty has said numerous times, that the D.A. pulls no shows in court.

We reached out to Livingston County DA Gregory McCaffrey for his response yesterday, but we have not heard back from him as of yet. As soon as we do, we will post McCaffrey’s response.
