NYCOM – the New York Conference of Mayors sent a letter to Washington, about Phase 4 of the Covid-19 funding. Here is the part that Mayor John Buckley wrote: “While most of the Federal stimulus has been rightfully focused on employees and businesses that are hurting, the impact on local governments will be devastating if Congress does not provide funding to make up for lost revenues due to the pandemic. Phase 4 stimulus must include relief for cities, towns, villages and counties who are on the frontlines of this crisis. Local governments should not be left behind.”
