New York State Democratic Party Spokesperson Addison Dick released the following statement:
“Mike Lawler, Elise Stefanik, and New York House Republicans gutted Medicaid for two million New Yorkers and sold out their own constituents to appease Donald Trump. They knew the price – higher health care costs for New York families and lives on the line – and they did it anyway to stay in Trump’s good graces and hand tax breaks to his special interest billionaire friends. New Yorkers won’t forget their betrayal of the people they were elected to serve – and they’ll vote accordingly.”
