FROM THE NEW YORK STATE TEACHERS UNION: New Yorkers from 80+ organizations to rally against Trump’s private school voucher scheme, urge Gov. Hochul to opt out. Hundreds of New Yorkers, including parents, educators, faith leaders, civil rights advocates and community members from more than 80 organizations statewide, will rally to tell Gov. Hochul: reject President Trump’s taxpayer-funded private school voucher program.
Public dollars belong in public schools, not private institutions with no accountability to taxpayers.
