October 24th: Several New Cases In Allegany County

In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 8.58 million people, and there have been over 224,000 deaths. According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 493,832 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 25,718 deaths statewide. As of 6:00 p.m. on October 24, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

Recovered Cases: 203
COVID-19 Related Deaths: 8*
Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date: 2,498
Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 2,041
Currently Quarantined/Isolated: 457
Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date: 1,126
Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given: 823
Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives: 46
