Monday’s forum kicked off a monthlong schedule of joint Senate-Assembly hearings on the proposed budget. Tuesday’s hearing is focusing on Environmental Conservation and Energy.
At Monday’s hearing on Agriculture, and Parks and Recreation, Senator O’Mara took the opportunity to solicit testimony from New York State Agriculture Commissioner Richard Ball, and Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation Commissioner Randy Simons.
During the hearings members of the Legislature’s fiscal committees will receive testimony from top Hochul administration officials, state agency heads, local leaders, and representatives of the wide range of stakeholders impacted by the state’s annual budget.
