FROM THE SHERIFFS DEPT: Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard says a 32 year old Painted Post woman, is accused of allegedly stealing a vehicle in Bath and allegedly crashing that vehicle in the Town of Thurston. The sheriff says the vehicle did not have an inspection sticker or registration and that suspect’s license was either suspended or revoked. Sheriff Allard also says, the suspect also allegedly followed someone around in a menacing way She was remanded to the Steuben County Jail facing several charges there.
Those charges are 2nd degree Grand Larceny , 3rd degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, 2nd degree Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree, 4th degree Stalking, Petit Larceny, and charges related to driving without a license.
The suspect was remanded to the Steuben County Jail.
