Every year at this time, Assemblyman Phil Palmesano, (R, Corning) talks about his sister Teresa, who was an organ recipient in 2006, and the importance of organ donations. This has been a major cause with the Hornell native and state assemblyman, for over a decade. “If you are one of the many people who are getting a new driver’s license,” Palmesano said, “remember that you can sign up to be an organ donor when you get your license at the DMV.”
