Paul Ceglia’s attorney, Paul Argentieri, says that Paul Ceglia has been detained in an Ecuadorian jail since August 23, 2018. Paul Ceglia contested his extradition to the U.S., but on February 13, the National Court of Justice there denied his appeal. However, Ceglia’s case is presently on the desk of the President of Ecuador, who Argentieri says, has final authority to order, or overrule, Paul’s extradition to the US. If Ceglia is extradited, there will be a trial in New York City.
