Paul Griffith Takes Over For Tim O’Grady As Alfred Police Chief

ALFRED N.Y. – The Alfred Village board approved the appointment of Paul Griffith to Chief of Police Tuesday night.

Griffith started his law enforcement career as a patrol officer part time for the Alfred Police department in 1996, he then became a full time officer for the City of Hornell Police department in 1997 then transferring back to the Alfred Village police department as a full time officer in 1998 where he has been since that time.

Griffith replaces the former Chief Tim O’Grady, who has been hired as the Wellsville Chief of Police, that post was formerly held by Tim Walsh.
