Police ChiefMurray: More People Are Speeding On Route 36

Hornell Police Chief Ted Murray says, there’s been an increase in moving violations on the streets, roads and highways in Hornell, especially speeding. According to the police chief, the worst offenders among speeding drivers, seem to be on Route 36, on both ends of the Hornell City Limits. Murray also says, some of the drivers have been clocked at going over 60 miles per hour in Hornell on Route 36, when the speed limit is 30 mph.

In other Hornell Police news, Officer Tim Thurston is in training for conflict negotiations, Sgt. Dan Murray is taking training on solving computer crime, and Officer JR Emo is working drug court duty.
