Former Police Officer In Suffolk County Loses Weapons Because of Safe Act

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY – A former Long Island area police officer tells the Daily Caller, that his weapons were confiscated at home, because he wrongly ended up on the mentally ill list, as a result of the NYS Safe Act.

The officer has filed a lawsuit in a Rochester court, claiming that he was only treated for insomnia, and not mental illness.
