Some Allegany County residents have posted on their Facebook pages, that they were briefly without power on Thursday afternoon, between 2:30 and 3:30pm, but neither of those who complained about the outage were able to specify exactly when the power went out. Right away, we checked the NYSEG power outage website, which showed that as of 3:53pm, there were 133 NYSEG customers who did not have power in Hornby, 10 customers in Caitlin who had outages, 10 customers without power in Corning, 4 in the Town of Orange, 1 in the Town of Dix.
