Update – Joe Racalto says the fundraiser held this past Saturday, brought in $3,000!
In response to the recent devastating floods in the Canisteo Valley, Racalto’s Restaurant, Fitzpatrick’s, and the United Way of the Southern Tier are joining forces to provide much-needed assistance to the community. On Saturday, August 17th, Racalto’s Restaurant held a Pasta Fundraiser from noon to 4 PM, with all proceeds directly benefiting local flood relief efforts.
Racalto’s Restaurant is generously donating all the pasta, meatballs, labor, and the use of its banquet room for the event. Fitzpatrick’s is contributing by donating all the salad to complete the meal. The community is invited to come together for a delicious meal and a great cause.
Tickets for the fundraiser are priced at $25 per person. Every dollar raised will go towards supporting the Canisteo Valley community as it recovers from the recent flooding. This event is an opportunity for neighbors to support neighbors and help rebuild the community.
“We are deeply committed to helping our community in times of need,” said Joe Huang-Racalto, owner of Racalto’s Restaurant. “This fundraiser is a small way we can come together to make a big difference for those affected by the floods.”
“We’re proud to partner with Racalto’s and United Way of the Southern Tier for this important cause,” added Shane Fitzpatrick, owner of Fitzpatrick’s.
The United Way of the Southern Tier will also be on hand to provide information on additional ways the public can contribute to ongoing relief efforts.
