Wlea news has learned that some local nurses will be at a rally on Red Jacket Street in Dansville today, from 4pm to 6pm. This is a rally against the vaccine mandate.
From Assemblywoman Marjorie Byrnes: “It is wrong for the state to mandate health care workers be vaccinated or fired. For 18 months, we have praised them as our “Health Care Heroes” for the sacrifices they made for us. Health care workers should be afforded the safe, reasonable alternative of weekly testing – which is the alternative allowed for teachers. I will attend the rally, support our Health Care Heroes and push for authorization of weekly testing.”
