Red Cross Helping Canisteo Family After Early Morning Fire
May 16, 2014
Colleen Keane from the Red Cross issued the following statement:
American Red Cross volunteers are assisting a family displaced by an early morning fire on Russell Street in Canisteo.
American Red Cross volunteers met the emergency needs of two adults and six children providing shelter, food, clothing, and comfort kits. Red Cross will continue to work with the family and offer assistance if needed.
The assistance we offer to families is a gift made possible by donations from neighbors and volunteers who help the Red Cross keep its promise to be there in the wake of disaster, when people need us most.
