Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced that Lockheed Martin’s Owego facility has been awarded a $56,406,399 contract from the U.S. Air Force. The funding will support the procurement of B-2 countermeasure receivers.
The project work will be carried out in Owego, New York, with an expected completion date of August 31, 2031.
“This is another major win for Lockheed Martin Owego, and a significant investment in the safety and effectiveness of our B-2 fleet” said Congressman Langworthy. “I am proud to see the hard-working men and women right here in my district ensure the continued success of the B-2 stealth bomber, one of the most cutting-edge aircraft in our nation’s arsenal.”
Lockheed Martin’s Owego site continues to be a national leader in cutting-edge defense technology and a vital partner to the U.S. military.
